2015
I remember I started my Graduation project for my Bachelor's Degree in Sound Engineering back in 2015, I knew the great potential mobile devices from that time had, not only for media consumption and social networks, but as tools, mobile devices are mini computers and so I decided to learn and develop an app for audio recording. It was not an easy project, Java was the main programming language for Android devices and developing DSP applications required expertise. It was the first time I did verison control in a remote repository and it was my first git commit in My GitHub
2018
After the project I wanted to continue creating apps for Sound Engineers. MIDI controllers are essential tools that enable communication with Digital Instruments and DAWs. think of them as huge mouses that give fast and precise digital instructions. And so given the technological upgrades of Android phones, I created a MIDI controller app that would mimic the capabilities of those electronic devices.
2019
After some years developing software, I wanted to jump into web technologies, I created demo projects consuming apis like APOD API in the browser and native mobile devices, I also learned about web frameworks like Ruby on Rails and front end libraries like React JS that enable developers to easily create and deploy MVPs in weeks.
2020
The year is 2020 and we find ourselves amidst a global pandemic many businesses are suffering due to the lockdowns, fortunately due to the computer and internet only nature of this career I could continue working in this field, I was working in Marfeel, creating software and analytics solutions for Media Publishers. This was an enriched and challenging experience, I was providing solutions for many live clients, not only creating fast and UI friendly
2024
I see myself now woking for start ups now and attending multiple tech related events. Gen AI models are now highly sophisticated and people as well as businesses are leveraging their capabilities. New startups want to create products that embed AI power into their applications, by creating sophisticated prompts for specific needs. So I find myself implementing Chat GPT's API, implementing sophisticated prompts that provide responses catered for people interested in improving their English lanugage skills.
2025
After sometime working on personal projects, I decide to launch a personal blog PixelWave, built in Ruby on Rails and deployed on a Linux VPS this is an ongoing project that should serve as part of my portfolio as well as a platform for authors to write and create their own articles. This year I have completed a Software Architecture Diploma and I aim to continue improving my skills in cloud technologies.
