Konami, the motherhouse of popular franchises like Metal Gear and Castlevania
has recently released a teaser trailer featuing the classic fog found in the
ill fated town. It also includes the popular music created by the popular comoposer
Akira Yamaoka.
The 1999 survival horror game was one of the most popular games in the franchise
featuring japanese horror style in an american type town
The story revolves around Harry Mason, father of Cheryl who just after
a car accident found himself searching for his daughter in a strange lonesome town
during this search he meets twisted characters and places that are the core of the
psicological horror surrounding the game, he visits multiple locations such as the
school and hospital.
This teaser trailer comes out left than a year away from the launch of the Silent Hill 2
which is the featured game of the franchise, this game was so different from the original
yet in contained the core essence of the town's horrors. James Sunderland, the main character
visits the town searching for Maria, his wife who sent him a letter.
